Introduction
When we integrate technology into our teaching, it can be tempting to start with the tool: “What can I do with Padlet?” or “How could I use EdPuzzle?” But meaningful integration begins somewhere else: with a learning intention. In this module, you will reflect on what you want your students to learn or practice first, and only then consider whether technology can add real value to the task. Does it make learning more accessible? Does it allow for richer interaction, collaboration, or feedback? Or is the technology driving the activity rather than the learning intention? Objectives
By the end of this module, you will:- Recognize what makes a clear and appropriate learning intention in ESL.
- Explore how technology can enhance, not replace, sound pedagogy.
- Begin to plan with a learning intention.
