After a short synthesis of this module, you will find Creative commons pedagogical resources you can use and adapt to your needs.

What should we remember?

Remember, that the aim of producing a podcast is to be heard and understood by an authentic audience. We need to take time to prepare how to deliver by using different strategies to annotate the written podcast script:

    • Divide sentences to group each idea and mark a pause.
    • Put focus words in bold that will be emphasised during delivery. Usually, the key ideas of the sentence.
    • Write large numbers in letters to avoid hesitation.

You can also use your own strategies and decide which ones you need to teach your students in order to help them deliver a podcast that they will be proud of.

We recommend using audio tools to record various versions, if possible, in order to improve the quality of the podcast. This step will be beneficial when recording the final version which is addressed in the next module (5).
