Now that your podcasts are published, invite people to listen to your productions!

Here are some ideas to make your project even more authentic.

Some ideas to inspire you to use podcasts in class

Establish contact with the community

Establish contacts within the community or with tourist information centres and offer the podcasts produced by local students.

LEARN Quebec (Kish Gué) collaborated with the Montreal West district to create plaques that present cultural elements around the district. Students' podcasts were linked through a QR code making them available to all on-site.

Create a tourist route

Use the students’ audioguides to create a tourist route in the form of a leaflet using the QR codes linked to the podcast.

Look at an example of a brochure created for the city of Chibougamau.

Create posters

Make posters using the QR code associated with the podcast and post them around the school.

You can use one of these tools to create your posters: Google slides, Googles Drawings, PowerPoint, PosterMyWall, and Adobe Creative Cloud Express.

Site presenting podcasts created by students.

Create a website

Students create audioguides about cultural objects/places/events in their cities and publish them on a Google site to share with an authentic audience.

Look at an example of a project of teachers from the CSS Hauts-Cantons.

Take some time to listen and discover their region!
