Section outline

  • Imagine transforming everyday items into engaging, interactive tools! Join us in exploring how Makey Makey and Scratch can ignite your creativity to develop your students’ ESL competencies in fun and imaginative ways!

In this workshop, you’ll explore Makey Makey, a versatile little device that transforms almost any conductive material—like aluminum foil, bananas, or playdough—into functional keys. By combining it with Scratch, you’ll learn to create interactive objects that are as fun as they are educational. Together, we’ll also discuss practical and creative ways to integrate these tools into your classroom to inspire and engage your students.

Bring your laptop and come create your own interactive project!
