Workshop Description
Section outline
-

In this hands-on workshop, we will present and create student-ready activities that start from a text that you already use with your students, whether it's popular, literary or information-based. Bring your text(s) and get ready to dive in!
We’ll kick things off by exploring a selection of ready-to-go resources and examples to spark ideas. Then, you’ll rotate through interactive stations, each featuring a different tech-enhanced task idea. At each station, you’ll discover how digital tools can help students actively construct meaning and demonstrate what they understand in meaningful and authentic ways. You’ll choose your stations and begin designing your own tasks. Step by step, we will guide you through building activities that lead to a final reinvestment task that you can use with your students.
